Theme: 1st Day of School / Scholastic Book Fair

COLOR INSPIRATION

VENUE

LAYOUT

ORIENTATION INSPIRATION

Orientation packet to include schedule of events, dress code, transportation, menus, etc. Put stickers to delineate "houses" on the packet.

Instead of name tags, some kind of button or sticker indicating their "house" to other guests.

Time capsule for guests to drop something in your wedding time capsule. Guests to receive instructions with invitation + on wedding registry to bring an item for your time capsule that is either reminiscent of the year or their relationship with you.

FLORALS INSPIRATION

2 medium sized arrangements to go behind the bar on shelves.

Various sized bud vases for high boys, cabs and coffee tables.

LINEN INSPIRATION

A solid blue linen on high boys and cabs

ENTERTAINMENT INSPIRATION

Elementary level classic board games at lounges. Examples: Sorry, Monopoly, Candyland, Don't break the Ice, etc.

DESSERT INSPIRATION

A cannabis dessert station (pending approval from venue + caterer)

FAVOR INSPIRATION

A pamphlet given to guests at orientation with school supplies and books they can "buy" that will then be donated to a school.

Theme: Field Trip to The Field Museum

COLOR INSPIRATION

Bright color palette with a variety of greens

LAYOUT

TAYLOR'S BOUQUET

A big, bold and colorful bouquet with jungley greens. Possible add colorful ribbons draping down from the bouquet.

RISHAN'S ATTIRE / BOUTONNIERE

Rishan's attire is still in flux, but considering a puple tuxedo jacket paired with a raspberry boutonniere.

HANGING GARDENS INSPIRATION

Create medium sized floral and greenery chandeliers to replace the hanging gardens and use as table numbers suspended over each table. Dinosaurs for table numbers.

TABLE INSPIRATION

A bold printed linen with wooden chairs. White dinnerware to pop off of the linen. Gold flatware. Alternating bold solid color napkins at each place setting. Low and lush garland centerpieces with tropical greens and pops of color in florals and tropical fruits.

LOUNGE INSPIRATION

Colorful Lounge Furniture

MISC DETAILS INSPIRATION

A scavenger hunt list (but not stupid and basic like the photo lol) with tokens at each location and ending with a some sort of directive for "proof".

Hanging menus over each dinner station; using dinosaurs here creatively when working work stationer.

WEDDING CAKE INSPIRATION

Colorful wedding cake with bright blooms; topped with a newlywed dinosaur couple.

Depending on taste preferences, could be cool to go with a fruity filling like a passion fruit or mango filling.

Theme: Field Day

TENT + RENTALS INSPIRATION

Basic white tent, with wooden cross back chairs, round tables and a patterned linen.

FLORAL INSPIRATION

A mix of small compotes and bud vases

ENTERTAINMENT INSPIRATION

Multiple yard games with hosts (examples: street curling, 3 legged race, bocce ball, bags, etc) and an end of weekend awards ceremony that includes points for participation from throughout the weekend
